If Friends Were Flowers

Good evening

Firstly Happy Mother's Day to all the mum's out there, hope everyone has had a good day and been spoilt!

Secondly what has happened to our weather.  Last weekend it was gorgeous with sunshine, but the last few days here in Northumberland have been dull and cold and today I woke to snow!  Good excuse to stay in and craft. 

The card I'm sharing with you is one I made for my Mother-in-law for Mother's Day.  She loves flowers so I thought this LOTV image would be perfect.

The image has been coloured with copic pens and I added stickles to the wings on the butterfly.

Hope your week is going well. Mine seems to be flying over so quickly - perhaps it's because I'm on holiday and don't want it to end!!

Had some crafting time last night and made this card.

I've embellished the card by adding small strips of lace to the corners and with a few flowers and pearls.

Exciting News

Hi

Just a very quick post to share some great news I had yesterday. 

I’ve been invited to join the fab Design Team over at the WinterWonderland Challenge Blog.  I am really excited (and a little nervous) to be joining the talented design team, but looking forward to working with them over the coming months.  And as an added bonus I get to make Christmas cards all year – how brilliant is that!

Firstly let me apologise for my lack of posting/commenting over recent weeks.  I thought I had been lucky and managed to avoid all the bugs and viruses that had been going around this winter, but the flu bug finally caught up with me, and knocked me for six.  I am finally feeling better and getting back to some regular crafting/blogging.
