Armfuls of Daisies

Hello Everyone

I've got a couple of days off work and have been having a little crafty play and found myself inking this little cutie up.

The image is of course 'Armfuls of Daisies' by LOTV and I coloured the image with Inktense Pencils with a mixture of flower soft and fun flock for the tail.

I even got the sewing machine out to attempt some stitching around the edges - don't know why I don't do this more often as I like the effect and hopefully I would get better the more I practise!!

Image : Armfuls of Daisies (LOTV)
Sentiment : Set 24 - Sentiment Tags (LOTV)
Medium : Inktense Pencils and Spun Sugar Distress Ink (Tim Holtz) around the edges
Papers : Always & Forever and Always & Forever Solids (LOTV)
Tools : Circle Dies (Spellbinders)
Embellishments : Flower Soft and Fun Flock (Tail); Cosmos Daisy, 10mm & 20mm Roses (Wild Orchid Crafts); Pale Pink Ribbon (My Craft Box) and Pearls (Mei Flower)

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Live Laugh Love at The Sugar Bowl

Hello

Hope you are well.  I thought I had managed to avoid all the cold and flu bugs that had been doing the rounds this winter, that is until this last weekend!!  Yep, they finally caught up with me.  I did blame my hubby as he had been sniffing and coughing the week before.  Anyway I did, eventually, get a card finished and it's for the new challenge over at The Sugar Bowl. This month the theme is:

Anything Goes
(please remember to enter you must use a Sugar Nellie image)

I've used 'Live Laugh Love' and you can find her here at Funky Kits.  I have coloured her with Copic pens with glitter on the wings.
