Have you enjoyed this Bank Holiday? The weather has been a disappointment, dull and wet but it hasn't spoilt my day which was spent crafting.
I've made the card below for two challenges - Papertake Weekly Challenge and Penny Black Saturday Challenge. The Papertake Weekly theme was Pins and Needles where you needed to include either some stitching or some pins (or both) somewhere on your card. For the Penny Black Saturday Challenge you had to use two different Penny Black images.
And this is what I came up with.
The images are "Shower of Flowers" and "Rainin' Daisies" both by Penny Black which have been coloured using Copic pens. The background paper is from my pile of scrap paper and has been stitched around the outside. Unfortunately you cannot see the stitching very well in the photo.
The roses, carnation and hellebore flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pin is from the Ribbon Girl and the ladybird I picked up at the Harrogate Craft Show earlier this year
The sentiment is by LOTV and that has been cut and matted with Nesties. The corner die is Whimsy.
I would like to entre the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Pins & Needles
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Double the Trouble
I'm off now to put the finishing touches to my son's birthday card. His birthday is on Wednesday, but it's been difficult making his card when he's around - I've had to wait until he goes upstairs to bed!
Take care and have a good week.
