Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Good evening or should that be good morning!!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland is this week's theme over at the Winter Wonderland Challenge and this is my effort

The image is Shine a Light from LOTV which has been coloured with Copic pens then cut out.  The Winter Scene is a digi image from Make It Crafty (Simple Winter Scene) which I printed onto card then coloured, again using Copics.  Both the image and scene have been given the glitter treatment (my husband commented that the living room and myself had also been given the glitter treatment !).

The papers are At Christmas Time by Papermania.

The poinsettias are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon and rhinestones are from my craft stash.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Right I'm off to bed now otherwise I won't be getting up for work.  Take care and have a good day.

Saying Thank You with a Messy Message

Hi there

My son wanted to send some thank you cards for the presents he received for his birthday on Wednesday.  Well what a perfect excuse to make some cards!!  Tonight's card features the image "Messy Messages" from LOTV.

The image has been coloured as usual with Copic pens.  I stamped one of the little messages that comes with the image onto the paper he is holding.

The background paper is from a Papermania pad "Sweet Nothings".

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly Challenge : Sketchie Free for All (I used Sketch #12)
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge : Animal Antics
Simon Says Stamp Challenge : Anything Goes

Take care and have a good week.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree ...

Hi there

Over at the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog it's all about Monochromatic and here's my attempt.

I have used the masking technique with three stamps - Christmas Tree by Creative Stamping (HH 638K), Peeking Angel (5614F) and Praying Angel (5616F) by Stamp Addicts.

The angels were coloured using Copic pens and glitter was added to their wings and halos.  The tree I 'decorated' with white pearl rhinestones.  The flowers are by Prima and the paper is from the Capsule Collection by Papermania.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:

Winter Wonderland - Monochromatic

A big welcome to my new followers.  Thank you for looking and for your comments - I really appreciate them.  Take care and enjoy the rest of the week.

Black and White Magic

Hi there

Well it seems that the lovely sunny weather has disappeared and it's back to grey skies - hopefully not forever.

This week's challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge is Monochrome Magic and I have chosen Black and White.

The image is from 'It's Your Day' Transparent set and has been coloured with Copic pens.  The balloon has also  been subjected to a little glitter.  I love using glitter to make things sparkle, unfortunately I usually end up sparkling too!!

The papers are from the Capsule Collection by Docrafts Papermania.  The appature effect has been created using Spellbinder Nestabilities.  The birthday sentiment I have had for ages, but re-discovered them the other day.  Flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts.
I would like to enter the following challenge:

Penny Black Saturday Challenge : Week 203 - Monochrome Magic

That's all from me, I hope you all have a good weekend - for some of us it's an extra long one.
