I've used copics to colour the image and the papers are from the paper pad "Up Up & Away" by First Edition.

Embellishments include flowers from The Hobby House and Wild Orchid Crafts, ribbon and pearls from my craft stash.

Winter Fairy

Hello

I have another Christmas card to share with you today and it uses one of the new LOTV Christmas Stamps called "Winter Fairy" - isn't she just so cute!

I've coloured her with Copic pens and used lots of glitter.  For the fur trim on her skirt I used some white fun flock which I got free with a craft magazine.

The papers are from Wild Rose Studio "Xmas Bella".

The die cut behind the image is a Marianne die.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The other embellishments - lace, ribbon and pearl gems are from my craft stash.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Good evening or should that be good morning!!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland is this week's theme over at the Winter Wonderland Challenge and this is my effort

The image is Shine a Light from LOTV which has been coloured with Copic pens then cut out.  The Winter Scene is a digi image from Make It Crafty (Simple Winter Scene) which I printed onto card then coloured, again using Copics.  Both the image and scene have been given the glitter treatment (my husband commented that the living room and myself had also been given the glitter treatment !).

The papers are At Christmas Time by Papermania.

The poinsettias are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon and rhinestones are from my craft stash.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Winter Wonderland : Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Right I'm off to bed now otherwise I won't be getting up for work.  Take care and have a good day.

Thank You Take Two

Hello

Isn't it typical, the weather here today has been gorgeous and where have I been - at work!

I'm back with another thank you card.  This time I've used two of the images from Present Trio by LOTV.

The images have been coloured using Copic pens and then cut and matted with my Spellbinders Nestibilities.  The paper is Hoppyhearts by Nitwits.

The edges have been distressed (well my attempt at distressing) using Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Faded Jeans.  I'm not very good at distressing, its out of my comfort zone.  I think I am too heavy handed and usually end up with a mess!! This is one of my better attempts the others ended up in the bin.

The sentiment is from LOTV which has been stamped onto a Whimsy die cut.   The flowers are sweetheart blossoms from Wild Orchrid Crafts.

I would like to entre the following challenges:

Lili's Little Fairies : Anything but a Square
J & C Creations Challenge : August Challenge - Something a Little Different
Allsorts Challenge : Week 170 - Anything but Square

That's all from me.  Thanks for looking and for any comments that you leave - they are much appreciated.

Saying Thank You with a Messy Message

Hi there

My son wanted to send some thank you cards for the presents he received for his birthday on Wednesday.  Well what a perfect excuse to make some cards!!  Tonight's card features the image "Messy Messages" from LOTV.

The image has been coloured as usual with Copic pens.  I stamped one of the little messages that comes with the image onto the paper he is holding.

The background paper is from a Papermania pad "Sweet Nothings".

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly Challenge : Sketchie Free for All (I used Sketch #12)
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge : Animal Antics
Simon Says Stamp Challenge : Anything Goes
