How Charming at Winter Wonderland

Good morning

Hope everyone is doing okay this Friday morning.  As it's Friday it means its time for a brand new challenge over at Winter Wonderland.  This week's theme is:

How Charming
(add a charm)

I've used Snowy and Hedgy by Penny Black.  Don't you just love these cute hedgehogs.

(Apologies for the wonky photo - you could be excused for thinking I'd had one too many, but I swear that wasn't the case as the photo was taken at 8.00 am in the morning prior to rushing out to work.  Must try to do better!)

Anyhow back the to card.  The image has been coloured with Copic pens and the bobble and trim on the hat has been given the flower soft treatment.  Lots of glitter has been added for the snow!

The papers are Frosty Christmas by LOTV.  A Martha Stewart punch has been used to create the snowflakes.  The sentiment is from the Merry Christmas set by Tina Wenke.

This week we are being sponsored by Crafter's Companion  who are offering a £10 voucher to the winner.

Please pop on over to the Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog to see the fabulous inspiration from the talented design team.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Crafty Boots Challenge : Christmas in August
The Cutie Pie Challenge : Challenge #51 - Anything Goes
Sparkles Christmas Challenge : Challenge #31 - Charmed I'm Sure
Christmas at Sweet Stampin' : Challenge #9 - Winter Animals

Well I'd best be off as I've got a friend popping in for coffee this morning.

Thursday Inspiration over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo

Hi there

It's Thursday which means it's time for some inspiration from the Digital Delights Design Team.  As this is the last week of the school holidays and the majority of pupils go back to school next Tuesday I thought I would make a card celebrating "Back to School".

I've used the images School Girl and Pencil which are available from the Digital Delights store.  The images have been coloured with Copic pens, but both images are also available pre-coloured.

The background papers are from the School Digital Paper Pack.  To create the decorative edges I used the Tim Holtz Alterations Die (Plaque & Postage) by Sizzix and A2 Curved Borders One by Spellbinders.  The sentiment is from the School Sentiments Set

Wendy is currently having a sale on "Back to School" images.

Please pop on over to the Digital Delights Blog to check out the fabulous creations from the design team.

Also don't miss the challenge over at Delightful Challenges.  This week's theme is Make the Cut (use die cuts, punches or decorative scissors).

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Love to Create : Challenge #80 - Back to School
Papercrafting Journey : Anything Goes

I'd best be off.  I need to put the finishing touches to my son's birthday cake.  He's fifteen years old today, but still wants a birthday cake!!

Thursday Inspiration over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo

Hi everyone

Today's Thursday which means it's time for some more inspiration from the Digital Delights Design Team

Here in the UK it's approaching that time of the year when many students are eagerly(!) awaiting exam results and for some students this means finding out if they have been successful in gaining a place at their chosen University.  This was the inspiration behind my card:

The image is Graduation Dan which is available uncoloured and coloured from the Digital Delights store.  I coloured the image using Copic pens and cut and layered the image using Spellbinder Labels Eighteen Dies.

For the embellishments I rolled a small piece of parchment paper up and tied it with ribbon.  I printed another image, coloured and cut out the mortar board.  The sentiment is from the Keeping in Touch sentiment set also from Digital Delights.  The paper is from the Classic Christmas pad by LOTV.

Please pop on over to the Digital Delights Blog to check out the fabulous creations from the design team.
