Happy Mail!

Hello

A birthday card featuring Harry The Stuffie certainly fits the happy mail criteria for me!

The image is of course from Stamping Bella and has been coloured with Copic pens.  I attempted the sponge dipped in colourless blender technique on his fur to give the illusion of texture.

Medium : Copics Pens
Paper : Small White Dot (Craft Creations)
Sentiments : Set 24 - Sentiment Tags and Set 69 - Family Sentiment (LOTV)

Add Some Texture over at Di's Digi Designs

Hello

It is time for a new challenge over at Di's Digi Designs and this fortnight the theme is

Add Some Texture

I've used the super cute Eggspecially Micey Cute which is available from Di's Digi Stamps.

The image has been coloured with Copic pens.  I embossed the top paper with an embossing folder then using a glue pen added glitter to the raised dots.  I also added glitter to the ribbon on the image.

Butterfly Arch

Hello

It's a colleagues birthday this week and I made this card for her.   For a change I decided to dig out my heat gun and some embossing powder.

The stamp and matching die are called Butterfly Arch by Stamps by Chloe.  The die has been designed to coordinate with the stamp and to cut the butterflies out whilst leaving the centre in the card to allow the wings to be lifted to create a fabulous 3D effect.

The sentiment is from the Butterfly Birthday Verse stamp, but I only used the bottom section.

Medium : Honolulu WOW Embossing Powder (Stamps by Chloe)
Sentiment : Butterfly Birthday Verse (Stamps by Chloe)
Embellishments - Crystals (Stamps by Chloe)

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Through the craftroom door : Anything Goes
Happy Little Stampers : Anything Goes with Dies

Thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comments.

Lots of Green over at Di's Digi Designs

Hello

By the time this post is posted I should be on my way to Harrogate for the Great Create Extravaganza craft show, so fingers crossed blogger is playing nice.

It's time for a new challenge over at Di's Digi Designs and this fortnight the theme is:

Lots of Green

I've used the gorgeous St Patrick's Mice which is available from Di's Digi Stamps which I coloured  with Copic pens.

Image : St Patrick's Mice (Di's Digi Stamps)
Paper : Capsule Collection (Docrafts Papermania)
Sentiment : All Occasions (Little Darlings)
Dies : Fabuloux Phlox (Memory Box); Labels Eighteen (Spellbinders)
Embellishments : Organza Ribbon (My Craft Box)

I have to confess that I'm not happy with the finished article and if I had had time I would have thrown this card in the bin and redone it.  Don't know if its the colour as green is not a colour I would normally use or whether its just because Mr Mojo has done a bunk!
