Hot Chocolate and Cookies - Yum Yum

Hello

I've got another card featuring those cute mice from Di's Digi Stamps.  The image is called - Hot Chocolate and Cookies.

I love this image - it might have something to do the the mug of hot chocolate and and cookies!  I'm one of these people who can drink hot chocolate all year round and not just during the winter. However there is nothing better than, on a bitterly cold day, to curl up on the sofa with my mug of chocolate to warm me up and who can says no to a chocolate cookie or two!!

The image has been coloured with Copic pens and I used liquid pearls for the cream to add some dimension.

Trick or Treat?

Hello

Happy Halloween, hopefully things haven't been too spooky!  Just wanted to stop by and share the little treat boxes I made for the little witches and wizards who stopped by tonight.

I make the pillow boxes using black shimmer card using a template I found on the internet (pillow box template). To decorate the boxes I used three images from Dis Digi Stamps which were reduced in size, then coloured with Copic pens.

The boxes were filled with sweets closed and the ribbon and image added.  Hopefully the little witches and wizards enjoyed them as much as I did making them.

Medium : Copic Pens
Tools : Circle Die and Scallop Circle Die (Spellbinder)
Embellishments - Ribbon (My Craft Box) Glitter

Scary or Cute?

Hello

When it comes to Halloween, I much prefer a cute rather than scary approach and this image fits the bill perfectly - it's Mummy Bear by Di's Digi Stamps.

I haven't a card to share today, but a door hanger and there's no designer paper in sight. The background was created using Distress Inks.  The image was coloured with Copics and fussy cut.

Image : Mummy Bear (Dis Digi Stamps)
Medium : Copic Pens and Distress Inks - Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot (Tim Holtz/Ranger)
Dies : Scalloped Circle and Circle (Spellbinder); Scary Spiders (Memory Box)
Spider's Web : Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge (Cricut)

I must admit I had fun creating this door hander and using different techniques - must do it more often.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog : Colour Choice - Orange, Purple or Black

Thank you for stopping by and for your lovely comments.

Easter Bunnies

Hi there

Hope everyone is well this Good Friday and for those of you who have a long weekend ahead I hope you have something nice planned.  I'm hoping to spend some of it crafting.

I don't send many Easter cards, but here is one that I made for my husband's aunt.

The image is Bunnies in Plant Pot and is available from Di's Digi Designs.  Copic pens were used to colour the image and I heat embossed the eggs with Transparent Embossing Power (you can just about make it out). A mixture of fun flock and flower soft was used for the bunnies tails.

Papers are from the Vintage Spring Basics Paper Pad by Maja Design and the sentiment is a LOTV stamp - Set 26 Simply Sophisticated.   The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts (Cherry Blossom, Cosmos Daisy and Sweetheart Blossoms) and the glass flower stamens are by Anne Marie Designs.  A tonic punch was used for the butterflies and the lace and gems are from my craft box.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Di's Digi Designs Challenge : Easter Challenge
Papertake Weekly : Easter Time
Created with Love : #79 - Easter
A Creative Romance : Eggcellent Spring
Moving Along with the Times : A card containing the word 'Happy'

Thank you for visiting and for your lovely comments.  Have a good Easter.
