Anyone For A Little Bit of Gossip?

Hello

I hope you are well.

On to my card ... I have been playing with an adorable image from Sugar Nellie which is called...

A Little Bit of Gossip

I have coloured the image with Copics and added glitter to her wings.  I die-cut 'Happy' in the white circle die-cut and inlayed it with a pink sentiment die-cut.  I then stamped the word 'birthday' underneath it.  The image was then fussy cut and mounted to the card base with 3D form.

Things With Wings at Winter Wonderland

Hello

Friday, and for many of us the end of the first week back at work following the New Year and I don't know about you, but it's been a long tiring one!  It also means that we have a brand new challenge starting over at Winter Wonderland and this week the theme is:

Things with Wings
(We are still on our non Christmas weeks so I hope you can come and join us)

For my card I've use the adorable image "A Little Bit of Gossip" by Sugar Nellie.

Apologies for the wonky photo

The image has been coloured with Copic pens and glitter has been added to her wings. Tumbled Glass Distress Ink was used for the background.  The paper is from Promises and Promises Solids by LOTV.

The butterfly border is a Joy Craft Die "Butterfly Edge 6002/0251" which was cut out then covered with lots of glitter.

The pearl trim and ribbon is from my craft box and the sentiment was computer generated.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts

This week we are being sponsored by Stamp and Create who are offering a $20 voucher to the winner.

Please pop on over to the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog to see the fabulous inspiration from the design team.

Quick Makes and Happy New Year Wishes

Hello

Just popping in to share a couple of thank you cards that I've made.  It was a nice change making something other than Christmas cards!

The image is called 'Gift Wrapped' which is available as a digi from Funky Kits.  I've coloured the image with Inktense Pencils.

I'm afraid I don't know the make of papers as they were odd bits from my box of scraps.  One of my New Year Resolutions is to try and use up some of the papers that I already have.

I've kept the embellishments fairly minimal with just ribbon and pearls on the purple card and just ribbon on the pink one.  The sentiment on the purple card is a word die from Simon Says Stamp which has been cut twice and given a coating of Wink of Stella (clear).  The Thank You on the pink card is a stamp from Tina Wenke (Sweet Wishes).

I would like to enter the following challenge:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting and to wish  a Happy New Year.
