Some exciting news

Hi there, I’m back to share some exciting news ...

I'm a little fairy

LOL - No I haven’t totally lost it (although my family would probably disagree!)  What I am is delighted to have been picked by the lovely ladies over at Crafty Little Fairies to join their Design Team.

To say that I’m thrilled and excited to be joining Crafty Little Fairies is an understatement and I can't wait to get to work with the talented design team.  Unfortunately I don't have a card to share with you today, but I hope you will hop on over to the challenge blog to see the gorgeous DT cards made by the rest of the team.  This week's challenge theme is Classic Christmas.

Thursday Imspiration over at Digital Delights - Standing Santa

Good morning

It's Thursday which means it's time for some inspiration from the Digital Delights Design Team and I'm afraid it's another Christmas card from me.
The image is Standing Santa and you can find him in the Digital Delights store.  He's been coloured with Copic pens with glitter added to the fir trim.

The papers are from the Classic Christmas paper pad from LOTV.    The sentiment is from the Christmas Tickets Sentiments set also available in the Digital Delights store.  The corners were made using the Filigree Corner Die by La-La Land Crafts.  The ribbon and rhinestones were from my craft stash.

Photo Inspiration at Winter Wonderland

Good morning

Well we're getting ever closer to Christmas, how are your Christmas cards coming long?   Not got enough then why not come and join us over at the Winter Wonderland Challenge.

This week it's Lynsey's turn to host the challenge on behalf of the snowflake team and our theme this week is:

Photo Inspiration

(Your card/project must include a Santa.  Animals/people
with Santa hats will not count.)

I've used Father Christmas by LOTV for my card.

I've coloured the image with Copic pens and used flower soft for Father Christmas' fir trim and glitter for the snow.  The background papers are First Noel by Papermania and the sentiment is from the Merry Christmas set by Tina Wenke.

The image has been cut and matted using a Go Kreate Die, Frilly Square #6.  I've also used the A2 Curved Borders by Spellbinders and the corner is a La La Land Die, Filigree Corner.  The carnation and roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This week we are being sponsored by Delicious Doodles who have offered a fantastic prize of four digi stamps for this week's lucky winner.

Please pop on over to the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog where you will find some fabulous inspiration from the talented design team.

Thursday Inspiration over at Digital Delights - Santa and Reindeer

Good morning

It's Thursday which means it's time for some inspiration from the Digital Delights Design Team.

No card today, but a Christmas Planner, hopefully it might help me be a bit more organised for Christmas - well I can always hope!

The image I used is Santa and Reindeer and you can find it in Digital Delights store.  I've coloured it with Copic pens and added glitter and flower soft.

The papers are Tis the Season by Dovecrafts.  There are four pockets on the inside - I made my own, but there are templates available online.

Thursday Inspiration over at Digital Delights - Snowie Lola

Thursday already - where is the time going?  As it's Thursday it means it's time for some inspiration from the Digital Delights Design Team.

My card today is very clean and simple, perfect for those quick Christmas cards you've got to make and this style also keeps the postage costs down.  The image is Snowie Lola and you can find her here in Digital Delights store.

The image has been coloured with Copic pens with glitter to the fir trim and around the aperture opening.

The sentiment is from the Christmas Hugs Sentiment set which is also available from the Digital Delights store

For A Child at Winter Wonderland

Good morning

It's Friday, which means we have a new challenge over at Winter Wonderland.  This week it's Marianne's turn to host the challenge on behalf of the Snowflakes team and this week the theme is:
For A Child

and this is what I created using one of the images by this week's sponsor:

The image is Ellie with Post Box by Pink Gem and it's been coloured with Copic pens with a touch of glitter to her ear-muffs and fir trim.

The paper was a free sample I got with a magazine (sorry can't remember the name).  A viva pearl pen was used for the snow.  The ribbon and pearls are from my craft stash and the sentiment is from the Holiday Notables set by Whimsy Stamps.  The tree embellishment is a button I found in my craft stash.

This week we are being sponsored by Pink Gem who are offering three digis to the winner.

Bluebell in Love

Good evening

Or should that be good morning!!  A very quick post to share the card I made using one of my new stamps from Wild Rose Studio - Bluebell in Love.  I love these stamps featuring Bluebell, they're gorgeous and have bought one or two, well it was just too hard to resist!!

The image has been coloured with Copic pens and the background paper is Woodland Wishes from LOTV.

The sentiment comes with the image.  I've kept the embellishments very minimal, just added a few pearls in the corners, this will help with the postage costs this Christmas!

Well that's it from me, I said it would be quick.  I'm off to bed now, otherwise I won't be able to get up for work in a few hours time.
