Quick Makes and Happy New Year Wishes

Hello

Just popping in to share a couple of thank you cards that I've made.  It was a nice change making something other than Christmas cards!

The image is called 'Gift Wrapped' which is available as a digi from Funky Kits.  I've coloured the image with Inktense Pencils.

I'm afraid I don't know the make of papers as they were odd bits from my box of scraps.  One of my New Year Resolutions is to try and use up some of the papers that I already have.

I've kept the embellishments fairly minimal with just ribbon and pearls on the purple card and just ribbon on the pink one.  The sentiment on the purple card is a word die from Simon Says Stamp which has been cut twice and given a coating of Wink of Stella (clear).  The Thank You on the pink card is a stamp from Tina Wenke (Sweet Wishes).

I would like to enter the following challenge:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting and to wish  a Happy New Year.

Fussy and Fancy over at Winter Wonderland

Good morning

Today is the last Friday before the big man in the red suit pays a visit and hopefully everyone is more organised than me!!

Over at the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog we have a brand new challenge and as it's our last challenge for 2014 it will last for two weeks.  The theme is:

Fussy and Fancy

This is the start of the period where you don't have to make a Christmas card/project to enter our challenge although you can if you so desire.

For my card I've used Away in a Manger from LOTV which has been coloured with Copic pens.  The sentiment is also from LOTV and is from Set 75, Christmas Wishes.

The papers are from the Silent Night Paper Pad by First Edition.  The border is a Magnolia Die and the star is a Memory Box die which has been covered with glitter.  The edges of the paper have also been glittered, although you can't really see it in the photo.  The rhinestones and ribbon is from my craft box.

We have four great prizes on offer from our sponsors so there is no excuse not to enter.
£10 Voucher from the The Hobby House

£10 Voucher from Wild Orchid

£10 Voucher for Crafter's Companion

Please pop on over to the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog to see the fabulous inspiration from the design team.

Christmas Presents over at Winter Wonderland

Good morning

It's time for a brand new challenge over at Winter Wonderland and this week the theme is:

Christmas Presents
(can be an image with presents or make a present)

I have used the image Fairy Lights which comes in Art Pad 15 (Furry Christmas) by LOTV.

The paper is from the It's Christmas Time Paper Pad by Maja Design and the sentiment is Set 35 (Grungy Christmas Messages) by LOTV.

The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, but I'm not too sure about the berries.  The bells and rhinestones are from my craft box.

This week we are sponsored by Whiff of Joy who are offering the winner a stamp of their choice:

Holly and/or Ivy over at Crafty Little Fairies

Hello

Before I show my card  I must beg the forgiveness of my fellow design team members over at Crafty Little Fairies for being so late with my DT card this month.  Life and work pressures have meant that I haven't had any time for crafting.

I also have some sad news to share with you - this month will be our last ever challenge over at
Crafty Little Fairies.  I would just like to say that it has been a privilege to be part of this wonderful design team.  Thank you very much for having me.

The theme this month is Holly and/or Ivy and here is my take on the theme:

The image is 'Hats Off' by LOTV and I've coloured it with Copic pens and I've had a go at adding Frantage.

The papers are also from LOTV 'Twas the Night'.  The Ivy is a Marianne Die and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This month we have prizes on offer from the following fabulous sponsors...

The Ribbon Girl (prize = £10 voucher)

Marianne Design (prize = to be confirmed)

Delicious Doodles (prize = 4 digis of winner's choice)

Hobbycutz (prize = £7.50 voucher)

Please pop over to the Craft Little Fairies blog to see the fabulous inspiration from the design team.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp : Christmas/Holidays
Papertake Weekly : Anything Goes

Thank you for stopping by and for your comments, they are much appreciated.
