It's Your Birthday

Hello

Just popping in to share a birthday card I've made for my niece's birthday in a few weeks.  I'm okay to post it as she doesn't look at my blog.

The image is from Wild Rose Studios and is called Bunny and Butterfly.  That bunny is just too cute for words.

The image has been coloured with Copic pens and glitter has been added to the centre of the flowers and to the butterfly.

For the 'Special and Niece' tags I used the blank tag from the Christmas Sentiments set and added the words from the Someone Special Sentiment set.

Image : Bunny and Butterfly (Wild Rose Studio)
Medium : Copic Pens
Sentiments - Salutations (Penny Black) & Set 93-Someone Special and Set 32-Christmas Sentiments (LOTV)
Paper : Pastel Dreams (LOTV) - Discontinued
Tools : Mini Butterfly Punch (Tonic)
Embellishments : Ribbon (Crafty Ribbons), Pearl Chain (Anna Marie Designs) and Pearls (Hobby House)

I would like to enter the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge : Challenge #161 - In the Pink

Birthday Wishes

Hello

Well we are almost half way through the first month of the year and I have to say I'm not too impressed with what this new year has generated for me so far.  Let's hope things improve!

Anyway today I'm showing you a card I've made for a colleague's birthday.

I've used one of the images from a LOTV Art Pad.  So disappointed that LOTV have decided not to stock these art pads any more.

I added some liquid pearls around the flower arrangement and a couple (or three) little butterflies.

Papers : Always and Forever and Always and Forever Solids (LOTV)
Sentiment : Craftwork Cards
Tools : Butterfly Punch (Tonic),  Scalloped Circle (Spellbinder)
Embellishments : Velvet Ribbon, Lace and Pearls from my craft box

I would like to enter the following challenges:
