Hello
Hope you are enjoying your Sunday afternoon. I've had a quiet afternoon watching the Olympics whilst crafting. Congratulations to Lizzy Armitstead on winning our first medal in the Women's Road Race.
Today's card features a hedgehog relaxing in a deck chair.
There hasn't been many opportunties to do that this summer what with all the rain we've had. However, I am ever hopeful for some better weather in the weeks ahead - especially as I only have two days to work then I'm on leave for two and bit weeks. I'm praying for dry sunny days!!
The image is Lazy Days from Penny Black and has been coloured using Copic pens with a touch of prisma pencil. The flower has been stamped again and layed on top to give some dimension. The papers are by First Edition - Spring Drop.
A Cheery Lynn die (Medium Rose) has been used to make the three roses. My first attempt!! The leaves are also a Cheery Lynn die
The sentiment is from LOTV - Simply Sophisticated. The card has been finished off with lace and rhinestones from my craft stash.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Summertime (and the living is easy)
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Make Your Own (Roses)
Enjoy the rest of today and have a good week.

Building a Snowman
Good evening
Mr Sunshine appears to have disappeared again, hopefully not for too long! I hope we get some decent weather for the Olympics. Husband and son are off to St James' Park tomorrow to watch two Olympic football matches - I hope it doesn't rain.
Today's card is another Christmas Card and features the cute image "Build a Snowman" by LOTV.
I've coloured the image with Copic pens with a touch of prisma pencil and added glitter to the fir trim on the coat, hat and boots as well as the edges (think I got a bit carried away with the glitter!!).
The paper is "Little Mittens" from Nitwits Collection. The die in the corner is called "Snowflake Corner" and is by Memory Box. The ribbon, rhinestones and snowflake button are from my craft stash. The sentiment is also from LOTV "Set 26 - Simply Sophisticated".
I would like to enter the following challenge:
Winter Wonderland - Pink, Purple, Aqua, Green
Hope the rest of the week is good for you. Thank you for visiting and for the lovely comments you leave - I really do appreciate them.

Let it Snow
Hi there
My card has been inspired by this week's challenge over at Winter Wonderland. I've never made a white on white card before, always felt the need to added pretty coloured papers, but I quite like the end result.
The image is "James Bear - In the Snow" from LOTV which I coloured using Copic pens. The oval appature was created using Spellbinder Nestibilities then embossed using a Sizzix Embossing Folder.
Martha Stewart punches were used to create the snow flakes which were covered with "Twinklets Diamond Dust".
Glitter has been added to James' hat and flower soft at his feet to give the impression of snow.
The sentiment is also by LOTV.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Winter Wonderland - White on White
Lili's Little Fairies - Anything Goes
Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge - Ho Ho Ho Christmas
Have a good week.

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree ...
Hi there
Over at the Winter Wonderland Challenge blog it's all about Monochromatic and here's my attempt.
I have used the masking technique with three stamps - Christmas Tree by Creative Stamping (HH 638K), Peeking Angel (5614F) and Praying Angel (5616F) by Stamp Addicts.
The angels were coloured using Copic pens and glitter was added to their wings and halos. The tree I 'decorated' with white pearl rhinestones. The flowers are by Prima and the paper is from the Capsule Collection by Papermania.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:
Winter Wonderland - Monochromatic
A big welcome to my new followers. Thank you for looking and for your comments - I really appreciate them. Take care and enjoy the rest of the week.

There's a Buzz in the Air
Hi there, hope everyone is well.
Today's card features another image from Penny Black - Buzz in the Air. I just love these cute hedgehogs.
I have coloured the image with Copic pens and followed the Papertake Weekly Challenge sketch for the layout.
The papers are from the Nitwit Collection - Gratitude. The flowers and metal corner are from Wild Orchid Craft and the metal butterfly is from my craft stash. I have also added a metal brad in the middle of the chrysanthemum.
I would like to enter the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly Challenge : Sketch #69
Penny Black Saturday Challenge : Week 208 - Hot Metal
Penny Black and More : Summer Blooms
Allsorts Challenge Blog : Week 161 : In Blooms
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge : Challenge #139 : Show Us Your Metal
Hope you have a good week. Lets hope this week's weather is not as bad as it was last week - I don't think I've seen it rain as hard as it did here on Thursday.
