If Friends Were Flowers

Good evening

Firstly Happy Mother's Day to all the mum's out there, hope everyone has had a good day and been spoilt!

Secondly what has happened to our weather.  Last weekend it was gorgeous with sunshine, but the last few days here in Northumberland have been dull and cold and today I woke to snow!  Good excuse to stay in and craft.

The card I'm sharing with you is one I made for my Mother-in-law for Mother's Day.  She loves flowers so I thought this LOTV image would be perfect.

The image has been coloured with copic pens and I added stickles to the wings on the butterfly.

Image : If Friends were Flowers (LOTV)
Papers : Bonnets & Bow Ties (Nitwit Collections by LOTV) and Bazzil Cardstock
Sentiment : Set 26 - Simply Sophisticated (LOTV)
Tools : Oval and Scalloped Oval Dies (Spellbinders); Corner Dies (Whimsy) Small Butterfly Punch (Tonic) and Heart Flower Lace (Magnolia Doohickey)
Embellishments : Flowers (Wild Orchid Crafts); Pearls and Ribbon from my craft stash
I would like to enter the following challenges:

Thank you for visiting and for the lovely comments.  I hope you have a good week.
