Good
morning
Welcome to another ‘Hostess Monday' over at Digital Delights. Today I would like to share with you some Post-it Holders I've made:
Materials
Used:
Card
Strong
Double Sided Tape/Wet Glue
Post-It
notes
School
Digital Paper Pack
Images -
Party Pencil and Chillin out Bookworm (available from the Digital Delights store)
Tools
Scoring
Board
Paper
Trimmer
Corner
Rounder (optional)
Cut a
piece of card measuring 20cm x 8.5cm. With the longest edge at the top
score at 8.5 cm, 9.5cm & 10.5 cm. Fold the card at the middle fold
line and make two snips up to the next score line. Hold the card on the
score line and open out and fold in the opposite direction. Push out the
small section which you have just snipped. The bottom, which will hold
the post-it note will be longer. Add tape onto the fold closest to where
the post-it note goes and stick down. I've
rounded the corners, but this is optional. You should end up with
something like this.
To decorate the front I took a piece of patterned paper measuring
7.5cm x 7.5cm and rounded two of the corners, then layer onto card which
measured 8cm by 8cm. I then took the image and layered onto card and
placed on top of the patterned paper.
Add the panel
to the front and take a pack of post-it notes and stick this onto the back panel.
I hope you found this project enjoyable and
inspiring. They are very quick to make and can be sweet little gifts for
teachers or your children’s friends.
Enjoy your Monday
