Include an Animal over at Di's Digi Designs

It is time for a new challenge over at Di's Digi Designs and this fortnight the theme is:

Include an Animal

For my DT card I included three cute mice!  They are so cute on the image here, using the sunflower leaves as beds, but I'm not too keen on seeing mice in real life!!  

The image is Slumber Sunflowertime which is available from Di's Digi Stamps and has been coloured with Copic markers.  I've kept the layout fairly simple, just adding a few roses and a sentiment.  Not sure where the cute little ladybug is from as it was part of some "candy" that Marianne Fisher offered (and I won) a while back - thanks again Marianne.

Hand Coloured Image over at Di's Digi Designs

It has been a while since I posted on my blog as I haven't had a lot of time for crafting recently.  My husband suddenly and rather tragically lost his brother in February and we have had to do a couple of trips down south.   He was only 48 and has left the family in a state of shock.  

I did manage to find some time for crafting this week and here is my DT inspiration card for the new challenge over at Di's Digi Designs.  This fortnight the theme is

Lots of Pink and/or Red over at Di's Digi Designs

It is time for a new challenge over at Di's Digi Designs and this fortnight the theme is

Lots of Pink and/or Red

I've used the super cute Hearts for you which is available from Di's Digi Stamps.  

I coloured the image with Copic pens and used Peeled Paint Distress Oxides for the grass.  The background was created using Cherry Cobbler Dye Ink (Stampin' Up) and the Lattice Background and Background Buddies stamps from Whimsy Stamps - I think I am going to use this stamp set a lot!  The circle, scalloped circle and mini hearts were cut using a Scan n Cut.   Glossy Accents was added to the mini hearts.
